Abia Nawoj Thank’s God with the Charge to Sow Seeds That Will Yield Positive Results

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists Abia state chapter yesterday, thanked God for his faithfulness upon their lives, the Association and thier families with a Charge on them to sowing good seeds that will yield positive results.

pastor Bob Ogbonna, who gave the charge, at the Authority Pentecostal Church, in Umuahia, during the Annual Thanksgiving Service of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists Abia State, and to end the 21 Day fasting and praying program of the church, called on Christians to always appreciate God for his faithfulness in their lives.

Pastor Ogbonna who preached on the topic, “The Reward”, opined that sowing tangible seeds to the work of God, brings good rewards as well as multiplied increase and harped on the need for Christians to serve God with their substance.

In her contribution, The Minister in Charge, of Authority Pentecostal Church, Aba Road Umuahia, The Rev. Amaka Okoli, who commended NAWOJ for deeming it fit to put God first in their activities encouraged the Women Journalists not to give up on God as God will fulfill all that concerns them.

She highlighted that Reward is also seen as the consequence of one’s behaviour whether worthy or unworthy, hence the need to be of good behaviour and attitude which will sustain a significant rewards.

The Chairperson, Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Abia State Chapter, Comrade Josephine Ogwo, who spoke through the Vice Chairperson, Nora Okafor, said they came to thank God for His faithfulness upon their lives and to ask for God’s guidance this new year.

Highlights of the service was visitations to the members of the association with health challenges, praying that God will perfect their healing.
