The newly posted Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps Abia State Sector Command, Corps Commander Ngozi Ezeoma on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Abia State Command, Commandant Usman Ishaq Alfadarai fdc, MFR at the State Headquarters in Umuahia.
The visit, according to the Commands PRO Doreen Udugwu said was aimed at familiarizing, strengthening the inter-agency collaboration and enhancing operational synergy.
During the visit, Corps Commander Ngozi reiterated the importance of collaboration between the two agencies in ensuring the safety and security of lives and properties in Abia State.
She emphasized the need for mutual support and intelligence sharing to combat crimes and emergencies on the highways.
Responding, Commandant Usman Alfadarai fdc, MFR commended the FRSC Sector Commander for the courtesy visit and expressed his commitment to fostering a stronger working relationship between the two agencies.
He said “this visit has marked the beginning of a new era of cooperation and collaboration in maintaining law and order in the state”.
The State Commandant received the FRSC Sector Commander in the company of some of his senior management team.
