The Governorship Candidate and Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Abia State during the 2023 General Election, Dr. Ukpai Iro Ukpai has dumped party for the Ruling party In the state.
Dr. Iro while leading his Running Mate, Bar. Chiedozie Josiah, a Chieftain of the Party in the State, Chief David Urum, Candidates of the Party during the last Election, as well as several Leaders and Members of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) into the Labour Party, cited the the reason to the Developmental Strides of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti as the motivating factor for their decamping.
