In a heartfelt celebration filled with gratitude and joy, pupils of the Ahuama Anyaso Educational Foundation in Igbere, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, came together to honour their benefactor, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, on the occasion of his birthday.
The event, held within the school premises, was deeply spiritual and emotional, featuring sessions of prayers, thanksgiving, and joyful activities. Led by the Head Teacher, Rev. Oko Eme, staff and students joined hands in offering prayers to God on behalf of Dr. Anyaso.

“We prayed not just for long life,” Rev. Eme shared, “but that God should continue to bless Dr. Anyaso abundantly, so he can keep supporting the education of these children and continue touching lives across our communities.”
In deeply moving prayer sessions, the pupils took turns asking God to protect, uplift, and guide Dr. Anyaso, his family, and his business endeavours. The teachers echoed the same sentiments, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the life-changing impact the foundation has made in their community.

Describing Dr. Anyaso as “a man of many parts whose milk of human kindness knows no bounds,” Rev. Eme added:
“Dr. Chimaobi Anyaso is not just a philanthropist; he is a father figure, a mentor, and a symbol of hope for these children. His unwavering commitment to education is evident, and we are proud to celebrate him today.”
A major highlight of the event was the pupils’ presentation of Dr. Anyaso’s autobiography in the Igbo language—an initiative that not only celebrated their benefactor but also reinforced the importance of cultural heritage.

The celebration also featured fun-filled activities such as the Steeze Game, balloon races, and other games, bringing smiles and laughter to all in attendance.
The joyous day culminated in the cutting of a birthday cake and a toast to Dr. Anyaso, with the school compound echoing with cheers and songs from pupils and staff alike.
Representing Dr. Anyaso at the event was the former Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government Area, Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro, who conveyed the celebrant’s appreciation. He thanked the pupils for their outpouring of love and reassured them of Dr. Anyaso’s continued commitment to their welfare.

He also commended the teachers for their dedication and urged them to remain steadfast in their efforts.
The Ahuama Anyaso Educational Foundation, a brainchild of Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, continues to provide free, high-quality education to underprivileged children in Abia State. His birthday celebration served as a powerful reminder of the lives being transformed through his vision and generosity.
