The Ubakala Youths Forum, today payed a visit to the member representing Umuahia South State Constituency Hon. Jeremiah Uzosikein his office at the Abia State House of Assembly Complex.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman Ubakala Youths Forum and also The convener of the visit Comrade Nduaguibe Patrick stated that they came to have a progressive discussion with the lawmaker representing Umuahia South State Constituency.
He pointed out the three major reasons for their visit, which include; providing skill acquisitions to their youths, and how to empower Ubakala Youths just like Old Umuahia have benefited, also Renovation and furnishing of Ubakala Youths Secretariat and finally to come to the aid of Mr. Ikechukwu Ekwueme, one of the Ubakala youths, who’s house got totally burnt in Abam Ubakala.
The Chairman Ubakala Youths Forum lauded the G.C Ogechi Cares Organization over his developmental strive in the entire Umuahia South, Urging him to create opportunity for the Youths of Ubakala to acquire Skills in different aspects, just like he did in Old Umuahia, Umuahia South.
Secondly, they requested that the house member should help them in renovating as well as furnish their Secretariat, while they seek Hon. Uzosike’s benevolent spirit to reach and rescue one of them who’s house got up in flames.
Similarly, the Chairman Ubakala Ward B Hon. Cyprian Obia thanked the member representing Umuahia South State Constituency for his selfless services. He described the Grand Commander Ogechi Cares Organization as an accessible leader who’s aim is to better the lives of his Constituents.
Responding, the Lawmaker Representing the good and great people of Umuahia South 7th Abia State House of Assembly Hon. (Barr.) Jerry Uzosike thanked the Youths of Ubakala for their visit. He reassured them of his commitment in bringing more development in Ubakala. Hon. (Barr.) Uzosike itemized some of his visible and viable achievements in Ubakala which include; provision of industrial Water Borehole Projects in Apumiri Ubakala and Umuorighe Ubakala, with it reticulations and donated a gigantic Generator to enhance the pumping of water respectively. He also pointed out those who were given employments, Political appointments through him, including agricultural and business empowerments, which Ubakala Youths are also beneficiaries.
Hon. (Barr.) Uzosike Promised to attend to their request with immediate effect, which include the skill acquisition program, renovating and furnishing of their Secretariat, and helping Mr. Ikechukwu Ekwueme come back to his feet through the help of Ogechi Cares World wide.
In his vote of thanks, Mr. Raymond Amuzie expressed thanks and lauded the Lawmaker for receiving them happily in his office, and for giving ears to their request. He promised that Ubakala as a clan will continue to support him and his second term aspiration come 2023. He prayed and asked God to bless and keep Hon. (Barr.) Jerry Uzosike and grant him more wisdom and grace to carry out more positive develomental stride in Umuahia South State Constituency
