The member representing Umuahia South Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Chief Jerry Uzosike says he will continue to
contribute his quota towards the development of the state through effective legislation and representation.
Hon. Uzosike made this known while receiving the Body of 2013-2014 Transitional Committee Chairmen who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
He explained that serving the people in that capacity, exposed him to acquiring needed knowledge which has contributed to his performance in the legislature and described the body as people who were in a hurry to develop their respective local government areas while in office.
Earlier, the chairman of the forum and the former Transitional Committee Chairman, Umuahia North, Chief Chukwudi Ndumele noted that they were in the lawmaker’s office to congratulate him on his victory during the elections and also to sympathize with him over the death of the mother.
Also speaking, the former Transitional Committee Chairman, Aba North, Mr Chizuru Kalu pointed out that the lawmaker has been one of the outstanding members in the seventh assembly and urged him not to relent.
