Thomas Partey is currently in London and did not travel to Germany with the rest of the team for the pre-season tour.
Partey’s name has been trending in the last 24 hours after reports that an unnamed 29-year-old Premier League footballer was arrested on suspicion of rape in North London.
Chris Wheatley had earlier tweeted that Partey was with the rest of the squad in Germany however, he deleted his tweet and has now provided an update.
Arsenal fans will be hoping that it is not Partey or any Arsenal player that is involved in this, for now nothing has been confirmed.
