The member representing Umuahia South State Constituency, Hon. Jerry Uzosike has called on the chief medical director, Federal Medical Centre Umuahia to be prudence and also encourage him to be productive in his quest to put Umuahia in a global focus.
Hon. Uzosike made this call during a courtesy visit to the Umuahia born medical practitioners in his office at Federal medical centre Umuahia on 1st July 2019.
Hon. Uzosike in his remarks stated that he is particularly happy over the new Director’s emergence as the Chief Medical Director noting that he is the first chief Director from Umuahia extraction since 40 years to head FMC Umuahia.
Again, Uzosike noted that Dr. Azubuike Onyebuchi ranks among the best brains in the medical profession in Umuahia he did made proud to his people by emerging the best in the 2011 and 2019 examination and interview for the position of Chief Medical Director, extolling the maintenance culture introduced by Dr. Onyebuchi to Federal Medical Centre Umuahia, adding that such is a hallmark of prudence and productivity.
He however, encouraged him not to relent in his efforts in putting Umuahia in a global focus.
Earlier in his remarks, Dr. Azubuike Onyebuchi thanked the Umuahia South State Constituency for their magnanimity in showing solidarity, promising that he will not do anything that will disrupt the good name of the entire Umuahia.
