Most Reverend Nicholas Okoh Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria, Anglican Communion have dedicated the St. Stephen’s Anglican Cathedral in Umuahia, Abia State capital advising both the Parishioners and Clergy against Internal Wrangling.
The Primate in his homily titled “You are the temple of the Living God” during the dedication service commended Parishioners of the Cathedral for their dedication and commitment in the realization of the Cathedral project which was started many years ago.

He described Internal wrangling between Priests and Parishioners as an endemic issue that often affect the growth of the Church while urged them to desist from attacking the Priests internally as it
affects the growth of the Church.
The Anglican Primate however charged the clergy to live exemplary life of Jesus Christ while descried the increasing rate of sinful lifestyle while called on them not to reject posting made by the leadership of the Church as their callings expects them to serve in any of the Church parishes especially in the rural areas.

Okoh however enjoined members to support the Church through financial and material assistance, Prayers and Supplication as it enhances the growth of the Church while called on them to commit themselves the
service of God and humanity.
He attributed the rising wave of immorality among the clergy to the increasing proliferation of Churches in the Country while he called on various leadership of Churches to stand against such sinful practice.

The Archbishop of Aba Province and Bishop of Umuahia Diocese, Most Revd. Ikechi Nwosu thanked the Primate for his Ecclesiastical visit while reminded the congregation and the Cathedral that church building is continuous in the diocese which all aimed at spreading Evangelism.
