NSCDC Tightens Partnership With FERMA To Boost Security On Federal Roads In Abia
The Abia State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Usman Alfadarai fdc MFR, today, welcomed the newly posted Federal Roads Maintenance Engineer of FERMA Abia State, Engr. Okafor Festus Obiora to his Command on a courtesy visit.
According to the release signed by the commands ASC II Doreen Udugwu stated that the visit was aimed at familiarizing and fostering a stronger working relationship between the two agencies.
During the visit, Engineer Okafor Festus (FRME) expressed gratitude for the support he received from NSCDC during the #EndBadGovernmentInNigeria# protest. He praised the Commandant for sending security personnel to ensure their properties were not vandalized.
Engr. Okafor went ahead to seek for a partnership with NSCDC to enhance the safety and security of federal roads, personnel, and users in Abia State.
The NSCDC State Commandant, Commandant Alfadarai fdc MFR, responded by assuring the FRME of FERMA of its unwavering commitment to supporting the agency’s mandate in maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure in Abia State.
During the courtesy visit, the State Commandant was accompanied by some very senior officers of the Corps.
