The senator representing Abia North senatorial zone was on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to Hon. Martin Ikechukwu Apugo over the Death of their mother Mrs Nkechinyere Dorathy Apugo who was buried last weekend at his sons residence.
The Senate Chief Whip while commended the family for a successful burial bequeathed to their mother, urged Hon. Martin to be fortitude and not to cry because there is time to be born and time to die.
He further called on leaders at all levels to eschew bitterness and unprofitable fighting in the name of politics but instead device a sustainable means that will affect the lives of their subjects positively.
In his reaction, Hon. Martin Ikechukwu Apugo the first son of the deceased ,who also rode on the platform of the APC as the candidate for the Ikwuano/ Umuahia Constituency for Federal House of Representatives and the President of Diamond Football Academy thanked the Senate Chief Whip for making out time to commiserate with the Apugo’s family one after the other.
Martin maintained that the exemplified humility of OUK must show as it takes someone who cares to do what the chief whip did in showing love and regards to the Apugo family.
