Late Alhaji Balarabe Musa Was A Detribalized Nigerian, Bishop Onuoha

As past and present leaders continue to commiserate with the family of late Alhaji Balarabe Musa who was buried yesterday, the President Vision Africa International and Co-Chair Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace Bishop Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, has described him as a man of character who spoke the truth even when it was not convenient.

Reacting to his demise, Bishop, Dr. Onuoha, said the first democratically elected Governor of the defunct Kaduna State now Kaduna and Katsina States, was incorruptible during his days as the first Executive Governor of the former Kaduna, adding that he rendered selfless service in the governance of the State.

The Methodist Bishop, who recalled the simplistic nature of the late former Governor, added that he fought tooth and nail to achieve a virile society for the downtrodden while he was at the helm of affairs, revealing that he will be greatly missed.

The Global Peace Award Winner, 2013, described Late Balarabe Musa as a voice for the voiceless who did not allow religious affliations be a militating factor in assisting the oppressed, pointing out that he believed in the unity of Nigeria.

Bishop, Dr. Onuoha, prayed God to console his immediate family, the people of Kaduna State, and indeed Nigerians just as he prayed God to grant the late leader, the emancipator of the downtrodden eternal rest.
