As Nigeria continues to face daunting challenges, ranging from bloodshed, abductions, banditry, Boko Haram insurgency, the President Vision Africa International, Bishop Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, has called on the political class irrespective of party affiliations to come together and find solutions aimed at averting further bloodsheds.

Bishop Onuoha who is also the Co-Chair Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace, a faith based organisation, said Nigeria is further put in jeopardy when the ruling class continues to apportion blames instead of relegating party affiliation to the background and collectively entrench peace in the nation.
In his words, “It makes no sense if people continue to shift responsibilities, it is only an unserious person that would make bold to say that Nigeria is not having daunting challenges that are threatening it’s existence. If we must resolve these issues, members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) must talk to members of the People Democratic Party (PDP), by so doing, the problems the country is faced with would be solved.”
The Global Peace Award Winner, 2013, revealed that all is not well with Nigeria due to various security threats in the country, decrying that once a peaceful Nation, Nigeria is about to be destroyed by enemies of the country, warning that if leaders fail to live up to their responsibilities, the common people will rise up and protect themselves against her enemies.
Bishop Onuoha reminded the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government that mere rhetorics will not save the country but tough talk backed with action, noting that posterity cannot forgive the ruling class if things do not change, calling on him to engage Nigerians now to avert further anger in the land.
He also called on people of different religions to unite and find a common ground aimed at solving the encumbrances in Nigeria, stressing that for peace to reign in the country, Muslims must talk with Christians and Christians must talk with Muslims as further divisions would sink the nation.
