Ikwuano/Umuahia Concerned Stakeholders Acquires Expression of Interest/Nomination Form for Abia Speaker For Federal House of Representative
The Concerned Critical Stakeholders of Ikwuano/Umuahia has presented a Nomination and expression form for the Federal House of Representatives to the Speaker Abia State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji.
According to the leader of the Stakeholders of Umuahia South Forum pastor Emeka Iyama while Presenting the Expression of interest form to the Speaker said “he should go the the green Chambers of the federal House of Representatives to continue to speak for them”.
Inyama alongside Chief Charles Ogbonnaya, (Evuleogu Ibeku) Chief Tony Ezebuiro, Sir Emma Nwabuko, Hon Wisdom Ogbonna, Sir Lucky Akabuike among others, agreed that the speaker has brought stability to the state house of Assembly, therefore, they met, resolved and visited to call on him to go and represent them at the federal house of representatives.
Contributing, member representing Umuahia South Constituency, Hon Jerry Uzosike said he believed in the project and supported the move made by Concerned Critical Stakeholders of Ikwuano Umuahia.
Hon Uzosike appealed to the speaker not to reject the offer given to him, considering his antecedents as the speaker of Abia State House of Assembly and a proud son of Ikwuano Umuahia federal constituency
The Speaker while receiving the form, thanked the Stakeholders for their visits, and however, promised to get back to them within 48hrs stating that there are consultations as well as lots of negotiation to be made.
He also assured that peace will rule in the state. And the narrative will be changed positively.
