The Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon. Martin Ikechukwu Apugo who contested for House of Representatives under the Umuahia/Ikwuano Federal Constituency in the last general election has condemned the ostensible killing of Northerners and destruction of their trucks during the #Endsars protest recently.
Hon. Apugo made this known to newsmen on Sunday at his residence when asked his opinion about the Judicial Panel of Inquiries set up by the state government to look into the level of destruction presumably orchestrated by hoodlums disguising as #Endsars protesters.
He called on the government to ensure transparency during the investigation and proper compensation given advising the youths to shun any intention whatsoever to cause trouble which will be of no interest to the nation.
Apugo urged every youth to live together as brothers/sisters reminding that the Igbos also live in every nooks and crannies of Nigeria doing their businesses without molestation.
Apugo rued the fact that hoodlums hijacked the protest to cause mayhem, and ,therefore, urged the state government to compensate the victims adequately.
