The administrative block of the federal ministry of Works and Housing Abia State was on Sunday 21st February 2021 engulfed by fire outbreak.
It was gathered that the fire which presumably erupted due to rodents chasers within the neighbourhood razed down the administrative block of the office complex.
The Men of the Nigerian fire fighters earnestly to put off the fire which broke out st within 10:am and 11:am
Some of the staff who came around could not recover any property/documents as the fire had already gutted the building
As the time of this report, efforts made to speak with the controller of Works or any senior member of the ministry proved abortive.
The building complex equally houses Federal Ministry of Information and culture, though the section of Information was miraculously spared.
