The President, Vision Africa International and Co-Chair Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace, Bishop Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on this year’s Eid-el-Maulud celebration, urging them to use the period to pray for the healing of Nigeria.

In his congratulatory message titled, “Pray for the Healing of the Country”, Bishop Dr. Onuoha, pointed out that the events of past few weeks in the country need fervent prayers to completely quell the situation, stressing that it is only through prayers that it can be realised.

The Methodist Bishop who noted the efficacy of prayers in forestalling delicate and deplorable situations, urged muslim faithful to use the period to pray that all aggrieved parties embrace peace and move on for the benefit of the country and her citizenry.

The Global Peace Award Winner also urged the Muslim faithful to specifically pray that the COVID-19 pandemic that has resurfaced in many countries especially in Europe does not make a return in the country just as he called on them to preach love and understanding for their fellow citizens as preached by the Holy Prophet.
