The Labour Party Governorship Candidate Dr. Alex Otti has Renewed and assured his Commitment to Clear Abia Workers Salaries, Pensioners, Gratuity and Leaves allowance within Nine Months if elected Governor in the forthcoming general elections 2023.
Dr Otti who gave the assurance while addressing the Members of People’s Alliance Front (PAF) a Non Partisan Political Party in the state said that the major drive for economic development of every Society is on it’s accountability, transparent and therefore, assured that he will use the available resources acurable to the state to make sure Abia State move from the era of consumption to production.
Dr Otti who spoke through his Director Campaign Council Coordinator Hon. Macdonald Ubah Rtd. Stated that Abia needs a capable hand to take it’s pride of place in the helm of affairs of development and regretted that it took the Present Administration 7 and half years to construct ordinary 7km road at Ubakala in Umuahia South LGA.
Otti also said that the Osisioma Ngwa Flyover under the Administration of Dr Okezie Ikpeazu been constructed within 7years did not reach Federal Ministry of Works standard as it will be a shameful thing to request for refund by the Federal Government.
He said that Abians are tired of bad Government in the state and enjoined the People’s Alliance Front PAF to mobilize support at the grassroots for All Labour Party Candidates in the next year’s general elections.
Speaking the Labour Party Candidate for Isialangwa North/South Federal Constituency Rt Hon. Darlington Nwokocha Represented by his Director General Campaign Council Hon Okeosusu O O R JP said that he is coming on board to bring about the needed change pointing out that his Projects which cut across the Isialangwa North/South Federal Constituency in addition to other Local Government Areas in Abia Central Senatorial Zone are verifiable.
In his address, the Converner of the meeting who is also the Founder/National Leader People’s Alliance Front PAF Hon. Prince Martin Ikechukwu Apugo enjoined the Association not to vote Party in the next year’s general elections but individual who is Competent and capable to rule the Country for the betterment of all.
Hon Apugo said that he strongly believe in the ability of Labour Party Presidential Candidacy of Mr Peter Obi to bring the needed change in the country adding that, the Country under Mohammed Buhari has shown incompetent in Leadership of this country.
The Founder cum National Leader PAF said Abia State can not achieve any tangible thing under PDP Administration as the party do not have the interest of her People at heart.
In their various remarks the State Woman Leader People’s Alliance Front,Hon Joy Agwara, State Youth Leader Hon Julius Anyimson and Coordinator People’s Alliance Front Umuahia South LGA Chapter,Hon Ahamefula Iheme said that the present administration under PDP in the state has dealt with Abia Workers and Pensioners adding that the only solution is to vote PDP out and support the Candidacy of Dr Alex Otti and other Labour Party Candidates in next year’s general elections.
