The president Diamond Tootball Academy Hon. Martin Ikechukwu Apugo has donated palliatives to their neighbours around Government College where the Diamond Academy Camp and training ground is situated to caution the lockdown that is occasioned by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Hon. Martin while delivery the palliatives asked them to strictly adhere to government directive in preventing the upsurge, urging them to maintain the Covid-19 protocols.
The palliatives according to the president of the Academy is a step towards safeguarding the lives of the people from the effects of hunger and other vices that may result during the loc
lockdown period.
The neighbours of the Academy Camp expressed excitement and thanked Hon. Apugo for remembering them at a time like this, adding that God will bless him in his future endeavours.
Items distributed includes bags of Rice, cartons of tomatoes paste and cartons of power oil.
Recalled that Diamond Football Academy has produced and develop young stars from its inception who now ply their trade across Europe, America and some Asian Countries.
