Following the death of Shehu Idris, Emir of Zazzau in Kaduna State, the President and founder Vision Africa International, Bishop, Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, has commiserated with the immediate family and the entire people of the state.
In a condolence message, Bishop, Dr. Onuoha described the late Emir of Zazzau as the longest serving emir who spent 45 years on the throne having ascended in 1975 at the age of 36.
The Methodist Bishop, said the death of Emir Zazzau came as a shock, adding that his advice was needed now that the nation is facing daunting challenges, revealing that Nigeria has lost an embodiment of peace
Bishop, Dr. Onuoha commiserated with Governor El-Rufai and the entire state, praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of a custodian of tradition.
Sources at the Palace say Mr. Idris died at an Army 44 Reference Hospital in Kaduna after a brief illness.
