The management of Danijoy International School has unveiled its Secondary Section yesterday 7th August, 2020 at the Onyerubi close behind BCA, along Abia State House of Assembly road, Umuahia.
The Commissioner for Trade and Investment and the former Deputy Speaker Abia State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Cosmos Ndukwe who was at the opening of the school, lauded the idea of establishing the structure which he said will increase massive development in the state and provide employment opportunities to the teeming youth in the society.
The Commissioner further stated that the school will attracts investors in to the state, adding That the proprietor of Danijoy has set a standard in educational sector in Abia State.
Dr. Cosmos also commended the Governor Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for creating the enabling environment for investors to come for their businesses in the state.
Earlier, the Minority Leader of the Senate , Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe before unveiling the Schools emblem expressed excitement in seeing such a standard school being sited in Abia State, stating that such can only be found in federal capital territory.
Senator Abaribe, therefore, commended the proprietors of Danijoy, adding that there is no better investment other than that of Academic Investment.
In her contribution, the Principal of Danijoy International Secondary School, Mrs Theresa, expressed happiness that the schools concept is inline with the British standard.
She also said it will give students opportunity to learn different skills like sowing, beads making and so on, adding that skill acquisition will help student to diversify easily among others
