In continuation of his avowed mandate to bring Covid-19 palliatives to the less privileged, Prince BB Apugo, Ochiagha Ibeku has donated five hundred thousand naira and 50 bags of Rice to Ohuhu community in Umuahia North Local Government Area.

The donation was made on behalf of the Prince by his three Sons, Hon Martin Apugo, Chibueze Apugo and Victor Apugo during a courtesy call to the residence of the President General of Ohuhu Development Union, Obi Aguocha yesterday morning Saturday 9th May.

Receiving the donations, the President General, described the gesture of Prince Apugo as the highest level of humanitarian service so far rendered adding that there has been a deep seated relationship between Ohuhu and Ibeku people over the centuries devoid of partisan politics.
In sincere appreciation, the relief Committee Chairman on Covid-19 for Ohuhu, Barrister Kelechi Ezechukwu profusely thanked Prince Apugo, describing him as a leader with human compassion and assured of equitable/ proportionate distribution of the food items and the cash.

It is recalled that for the past two months, Prince BB Apugo National member, Board of Trustees APC, has donated Covid-19 palliatives to different communities in Abia State running into millions of Naira.
