BREAKING: Godwin Adindu Appointed DG Abia State Agency for Social Reorientation |Nuelsnews

The former Chief Press Secretary to Abia State Governor, Mr. Godwin Adindu has been appointed the DG, Abia State Agency for social reorientation. According to the news from BCA radio, monitored in Umuahia, and signed by the permanent secretary, Abia state Government House, Umuahia, the appointment is with immediate effect.

Mr. Godwin Adindu until his appointment, has worked as SA Media to former Governor Theodore Ahamefula Orji and was later appointed the Chief Press Secretary to the present Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, PhD for about 2 years. He was later made an SA on Communication to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu till the end of the last dispensation.

Adindu is a 1991 graduate of Andrews University also holds an Msc in Media & Communication from the Pan Atlantic University (Lagos Business School) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Calabar. He trained with the British Broadcasting Cooperation (BBC) in Specialized Political Reporting.

He wrote and published 85 publications in strong National dailies as the first CPS to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Well – schooled, urbane and cultured, Adindu says of himself:
“Am more of an intellect worker than a politician” “I believe in the new communication module which advocates that communication should be a vehicle for mediation, reconciliation and for building communion and community. Those were my positions in the thesis I submitted to the Lagos Business School. And I was inspired in these values by the teachings of the Dean of SMC, Professor Emevwo Biakolo.
