ABIA NSCDC BOSS PAID COURTESY VISIT TO DSS STATE DIRECTOR HARPS ON EFFECTIVE INTELLIGENCE GATHERING FOR ENHANCED SECURITY.

The Abia State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps; Commandant Akinsola Aderemi has opined that an effective Intelligence gathering and Information sharing would enhance the security architecture of any nation.

Commandant Akinsola while on a courtesy visit to the State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), Abia State Command; Nadia Mohammed-Soso hinted that one of his pivotal action plan is to ensure adequate Protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure in Abia State and to actualize this; it has become very imperative for his administration to partner with relevant security agencies.

He said the familiarization visit is to strengthen the long term synergy with the DSS who remains a point of reference in Intelligence and homeland security.

Commandant Akinsola expressed his commitment to working in collaborations with the DSS with emphasis on prompt Intelligence, effective communication and coordination in maintaining peace and security in Abia State.

In her welcome remarks the State Director of DSS assured the Commandant of her readiness to work in Synergy to tackle the security challenges across the State.

“Lets specially welcome you to Abia state and also commend your pragmatic approach to building relationships with key stakeholders;
the DSS has a long history of smooth working environment with the NSCDC and this would be sustained under my watch”.

The visit of a truth underscores the agencies’ shared commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of Abia State residents.
